Dear Luke,

I have been to Paronella Park on several occasions. I am always impressed by the amount of work that went into the place. With the passage of time and the growth of the Rainforest, it has turned into a magic place.  I have travelled Australia but there is no place like this anywhere else.

The natural waterfall with the Basalt Columns is a feature that appears in other places on the tableland, but to have it right there where one can sit and marvel at nature is surely unique.  The construction of the first Hydro-Electric System in Queensland was of particular interest to me and demonstrates the passion Mr. Paronella had for his project.  Truly remarkable.

When I was last down there as part of the band of musicians making the movie “Silent Woman”, I couldn’t believe the number of “Sooty Grunters”, and the eels right at the bank.

I was impressed with your handling of the crowd when you had four different groups mixing together.   The candlelight ceremony by the Japanese was really nice.

Mere words are not enough to describe this place.

Yours faithfully,

Rob
