I am so sorry I have not replied to you before - life here in Sheffield,
England is so hectic and busy but here goes, it it's not too late.

We visited Paronella Park thanks to a receptionist from a Caravan Park in
Cairns although another lady we met on a trip into Kakadu had also
mentioned and recommended it to us.

This was my first visit to Australia and I found its diversity amazing
although my husband was quite taken aback by the changes since he lived
there in the 1960's

Paronella was like a little oasis of magic and we met some lovely people
from northern England with whom we are now in regular contact - thank you.

The story behind the building of the park is like a fairy tale and the
flora is absolutely wonderful.  The display of Aboriginal customs is great
and it was great to see the young Aboriginees taking part to explain their
culture.

Well done Paronella - if we ever come back to Australia we will try and
pay you another visit although thank you for making it possible to keep in
touch with email messages.
