We are delighted to provide a testimonial for Paronella Park.
The first time we visited from the minute we pulled into the carpark until when we left the staff were so friendly.
Yes paronella Park is the hidden jewel and for us the highlight would be camping up in our Maui Motorhome and being part of the night tour of the park. What a magical occasion, we had never seen batts in trees which were fascinating and the row of kauri trees basking under the moonlight were just such an amazing scene. What a magical show the entire night tour produced and then to finish off being able to take our morning cup of tea back into the park, amble down to the Lakeside and drink our tea to the call of the beauty birds and beauty of the waterfall was priceless.
We returned to Paronella park two years later, still spellbound by the park, to discover just months previously a very nasty storm had destroyed much of the growth and caused havoc to the cafeteria, buildings, walkways etc. What was amazing was the enthusiasm of the park staff to return Paronella to its best and the effort on everyones part to make tourists most welcome under very trying circumstances.
On our first visit in the late afternoon Judy went to all sorts of effort to make sure she found the dairy free Ice Cream for the dairy intolerant visitors, a treat much appreciated and typical of the friendly, caring staff at Paronella.
Paronella Park you are certainly a Hidden Jewel but one we have told many friends is a must on a trip to North Queensland.
One day we hope to bring our Grandsons to see Paronella.
Cheers
