Friends of ours were two weeks ahead of us touring North Queenslands & it was on their suggestion that we visited Paronella Park.They discribed it to us as a castle with free overnite motorhome accommodation.Having also seen a sign board which looked like a castle I guess we arrived with that expectation.I can honestly say that I was nothing short of MOVED by the experience. To witness such a tranquil creation of buildings & gardens it was nothing short of EDEN.For one man to realize his dream practically with his bare hands & very little help is nothing short of a master piece.Besides this incredible achievement there is some thing so much more to Paronella Park than what meets the eye.After experiencing the most wonderful group nite walk,I was fortunate enough to wake early the next morning to the sounds of the birds & I was drawn to walk before any other beings were around.As I meandered through the beautiful surrounds I felt the spirit of Jose there with me & the feeling of sheer holiness caused tears to run from my eyes.It was hard to pull myself away to carry on with our journey.Paronella Park to me was so special, the experience will stay with me always.
