Ray and I were visiting Cains with some Australian friends who are now based in Perth. Rob had grown up in and around Cairns and suggested we visit Paronella Park which he knew well from his youth.
Our excellant guide took us on a journey where one could imagine the past and feel the passion that both past and present owners had for the Park. From the tunnel of love with its bat inhabitants to the frenzy of feeding fish The beautiful gardens and staircases all  I can relive from the memories which were etched by the guide. A truly remarkable place which I would oneday love to revisit.
