My name's Marlena and i have travelled all the way from New Zealand to Australia. I have experienced many wonderful and beautiful thing's through out australia, but the 1 outstanding memorie i have still to this day and that was hearing about a sacrid place down in innisfail, called paronella park, i asked many question's about this sacrid little place before making my way down to innisfail from cairn's to check out this absolutly amazing place. Anyway i headed down to this paronella park and im glad i didnt go off word'z that people had used to try and explain, because wen going to paronella and seeing it all myseif the word'z that other's spoke came no were near close to the actuall experience you get while there. i arrived at paronella and my first step outta the car was like my first step on the plane cumming over to australia, it was full of excitment not nowing what to expect, it was that first breath of fresh air, it was the outstanding service from the wonderful staff, i mean i bearly got outta the car and the owner i soon found out was there to greet every1 that had arrived to see this special place they have hidden in the middle of no were realy, it's kind of like finding a diamond i guess :), well that's how it was for me....
 
We then proceeded into paronella as i now was soo excited to get this experience underway as quickly as possable, as i was soo intruiged all ready. We got given food 2 feed the fish and the turtle's. Our group headed off on our tour of parroella, was soo exciting :).
 
Anyway's it was soo gud to see that they kept the historic building's the same as to say 50yr's ago, well that was untill cyclone larry had come in and devostated the staff from the park and the visitor's, and to see that made tear's come to my eye's as from year's ago a family had put all they had into the park.
 
So 2 finish it off id just like to say that i really enjoyed my experience at the park and if there was a star rating system i would give paronella 10* and will be taking all of my friend'z and family to have the same beautiful experience i had, also to see that they ave one of new zealand's ost sacrid tree there the kauri tree..
