First of all I would like to tell you that although we have had many guided tours in Australia over the past 7 weeks, we still remember vividly your guided tour and your enthusiasm and admiration for this park that you work in.
It is obvious that you very much like what you are doing and I share your views that -maybe- the expression 'No Way Jose' could be attributable to Jose Paronella!

Our attention was drawn to this beautiful park by a guy who works at Apollo in Cairns where we rented our campervan. At first we did not really know what to expect: a Spanish castle in the tropical rainforest
(?) so we arrived at Paronella Park without great expectations.

I can of course elaborate about the great views of a man like Jose Paronella, that he was way ahead of his time and that he did most of the work in the park (buidling the castles, staircases and planting the
trees) mostly by himself but the one special memory that still sticks to me today was the sunsettour. We already did the tour with you and I was reluctant to do another one already a few hours later but my boyfriend talked me into it anyway.

With torches we reported to Mark who was going to show us around. Very alert we walked around this Paronella Park (minding our step for spiders and snakes) till we suddenly stopped at the beautifully lit castle. Through the arch we could see the even more stunningly lit waterfall and on top of that, there was soft music coming from this building under this great sky full of stars. WOW!

Sometimes you are just his with this feeling of absolute happiness, this was such a moment for me. And today, weeks after our visit to Paronella Park, if I close my eyes I can still reproduce this image!

Thank you again very very much for this experience!

Kind regards,
Bianca & Christian
