The "Hidden Jewel" award is an apt name to describe Paronella Park as it was the 'hidden' part that attracted us. We were certainly curious as to what Paronella Park actually was.

We had only just begun the tour when we could appreciate the 'jewel' that had been created. I felt we were entering a wonderfully inspiring moment in history. It was like we went through a portal in time to marvel at the lengths that had been gone through to build in such a remote and difficult area of Australia. The pride the original owner had, is seen in everything that has been restored with such care and attention.

Paronella Park embodies many of the attributes that our forefathers were renowned fo and have become traits valued by Australians across the nation. Paronella Park shows vision, tenacity, strength and the spirit of someone who wants to accompllish a dream over seemingly insurmountable odds.

Our visit was so interesting and your tour guide information so well delivered that as you know we have recommended it to 'FOXTROT PAPA' a group that designs trips to inspire and challenge newly acquired paraplegics and other wheelchair bound people.
