Buried amidst fields of sugar cane we came across Paronella Park. Our discovery turned out to be treasure trove of nature and an intriguing slice of Australian history. I knew California had Hearst Castle but I had no idea Queensland had an outdoors equivalent in Paronella Park. It was a unique privalege to experience the secret haven of an early entrepeneur and visionary. Thanks for the experience.
