We visited many places whilst on holiday in Cairns for 4 weeks.  The many attractions included the waterfalls, rivers and lakes in the Tablelands, The Wildlife Safari Reserve, Cairns Tropical Zoo, Port Douglas, Sky Rail and many more.  Paronella Park topped the lot and is must see attraction for anyone visiting or living in Cairns.

Despite the adverse damages caused by flooding in 1946, the fires of 1979 and a cyclone in 1986, Paronella Park truly is a hidden jewel.

The hospitality and warmth at Paronella Park was exceptional.  From the lovely lady who came out to direct parking, the guided tours and the dreams of one Jose Paronella, who epitomised the fighting spirit and the never give up attitude that is so prevalent amongst typical outback farmers throughout Queensland – We will definitely be back.
