My visit to Paronella Park was truly magical and inspiring.
Jose Paronella's artistic foresight, together with incredible endurance and tenancity, created a sanctuary of beauty and peace which has thankfully endured the ravages of nature for us all to emerse ourselves in and enjoy.  It was also built as a testament to his love for his sweetheart in Spain (although there lies a sad story). 
 
To read Jose Paronella's biography "The Spanish Dreamer" is an inspiration to those who aspire to entwine the beauty of architecture with the surrounding nature.
 
My preconception of what I was about to experience on my visit to Paronella Park was truly surpassed.  It is a "must do" visit for travellers to Northern Queensland.
