sorry it has taken a while to reply, but i have been very busy with christmas, new year and getting ready for uni, i finally have some time to tell about my visit to paronella park.

well it was when my family and i were on vacation at townsville and working our way to port douglas and then back to townsville. i saw one of the brochures and needed to visit, the rest of my family wasn't as interested as i was. it took some convincing to get everyone there, once we went around the park and started to imagine what this amazing place looked like back in the day. questions were running through my mind who were these people really, what did they look like, were their outfits as glorious as i could imagine!

everyone was very frilled and happy that i did convince them to go. this is also why i love the fact that is also know as a hidden jewel, because you just dont know what to expect, untill you imerse yourself in the history.

i beleive that paronella park is sort of like the titanic - a grand beautiful mystery only partly solved. and as time continues i hope that it does become more popular to the world like the titanic was.

Good luck and all the best

Catriona.
