Paul and I first heard about Paronella Park in the early seventies when we were at a party and a couple were showing photos of this Spanish castle they had seen when they were on holidays up north. We immediately fell in love with what we saw and asked so many questions and we made ourselves a promise that we would get there some day to see this beautiful place. We went on to raise three beautiful children and when the last one finally left home in early  2003, we finally booked a holiday!
We headed to Cardwell, hired a power cruiser for a week and explored the most beautiful places we have ever been. The last day was a little sad as we handed back the cruiser, but we were also excited that we were at last..after more than 30 years finally going to see our "Dream"!

We vividly remember everything that we did and saw that day at Paronella Park..the staff were wonderful, the meal was delicious in the most wonderful setting..and the best was yet to come..this beautiful jewel took our breath away and it was so emotional for us to finally be there....our tour guide was so patient as we asked what must have seemed to be a million questions...we just could not get enough of this place and had a perfect day together. Our dream is still to come back to Paronella Park as it holds a piece of our hearts.....we have been married for 32 years now and together for 36...and still we have our dreams. Thank you for fullfilling a big dream of ours and keeping a special dream alive. We will never forget the day we spent with you all.

 Paronella Park is that special place that we think everyone should see  at least once in their lifetime.
