Works Complete - now exporting power to the grid.

The Hydro Project at Paronella Park is complete! The system has been tested and is in working order.

The official switch to hydro power date is yet to be announced, as the waterfall is not running strong enough to keep the turbine spinning at a decent rate.

At full power we will be able to run Paronella Park and the adjoining van park completely, with excess power available to sell back into the grid at night.

Restoration beginsThe Engineers have left as of 6th November, painting the system in the original bright blue colour before they did so.

The rain started mid way into the dam building but didn't effect the work. We expect the official opening to be mid December.
